If that sounds like you, then this Handmade for the Holidays” advent calendar is for you. You will make your unique tea candle light holder, perfect for Christmas.

What makes this advent Journey special?

More than just a gift

Let’s be honest – most of us are tired of rushing through stores or scrolling endlessly online for gifts. There’s something different about a handmade piece – it tells a story, it has a soul. This advent calendar helps you create something that’s more than just another present. It’s your way of saying: “I took the time to make something special just for you” – that goes beyond the ordinary, doesn’t it?

Simple and Easy, Even at Home

You’ve thought about trying pottery before — you’ve seen the videos, admired the handmade pieces, and wondered if you could do it too. But then, life got in the way, or maybe the idea of setting up a pottery space at home felt overwhelming. “How would I even start?” you might have asked yourself. This advent journey is here to change that. I’ll guide you step by step with clear, simple instructions. You don’t need fancy tools, expensive materials— just a bit of curiosity and an open mind and my tips.

Me-Time, Without the Stress

There’s something soothing about working with clay — it’s simple, grounding, and helps you slow down. It’s not about perfection; it’s about enjoying the process. And who couldn’t use a moment like that, especially during the hectic holiday season? You deserve the chance to switch off, find joy in creating, and as a bonus, bring a little extra happiness to someone else with your handmade gift.

We start on December 1!

Hi, I am Viktoria Jeanroy.

My path wasn’t always paved with clay; it started amidst the figures and forecasts of finance. Yet, after a decade in finance, I chose to follow the whispers of my childhood dreams back to the earthy embrace of pottery. I have been participating in several pottery courses in Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Hungary and also I taught myself at the same time.

Today I bring my years of learning to life in my small cosy studio, in Aeugst am Albis, Switzerland. Here I create pottery from stoneware and porcelain that’s simple, modern, fresh, and just right for everyday use. My pieces are inspired by nature and the little things in life, using lots of earthy colors to create a warm, natural feel. My light sculptures have a special place in my heart.

I teach pottery with the aim to help you uncover your creativity and feel grounded and relaxed. Whether you’re a beginner or seeking to refine your skills, I want you to experience the joy of creating something unique that you can be proud of.

I look forward to prove you that you can make pottery too
